YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO SECURE THE RUBTION STALLION LINE
through his only multiple Group 1 winning sire son.

This tough sprinter/miler, multiple stakes-winning son of Rubiton is best remembered for his hard, never-say-die, front running style and his ability to fight back strongly and win when challenged near the line. One of Adam's most memorable races was when he defeated Sunline at her peak in the Theo Marks Stakes.

A winner of over $2 million in prizemoney durng his career, Adam won the Gr.1 George Main stakes and Stradbroke Hcp. And when he won the Stradbroke Handicap Gr. 1, Adam became the first horse from the Hunter Valley to win a $1m race! He would have won the Doomben 10,000 Gr. 1 the same year, but unfortunately he struck interference when leading inside the final 150m.

He placed in a further 8 Gr. 1 races and from 51 starts and collected cheques on 42 occasions.

At 16hh, with excellent conformation, soundness and attitude, Adam has a wonderful temperament and is truly an outstanding individual. He is the only stakes winning son of Rubiton standing in Australia and is your only chance to secure this valuable bloodline in your future champions. He is the second-highest earning son of Rubiton; second only to dual Cox Plate winner Fields of Omagh, beating such notables as Testa Rossa, Shogun Lodge, Staging and Intergaze multiple times. Adam placed third in the famous Gr. 1 Hong Kong Mile to Sunline and Fairy King Prawn.

Out of a Long Row mare, Adam provides both stamina and sprint to his progeny. Because of this versatility, mares with either sprinting or staying lines cross well with Adam. A cross with sprinting lines will encourage more early sprint ability in his progeny whereas breeding staying lines to Adam have the potential of crossing his sprint and stamina with distances of over 2000m. Adam has already produced winners from distances of 1000m to over 2000m.

From very limited opportunities at stud until now, Adam produced the on-pace, stakes-placed NSW gelding Let Me Adam from an unraced Jan Murray mare and back mark sprinting sensation Even Adam from a half sister to stakes winner Silver Glade. Adam's Bell has made his mark in VIC with big wins in 2011 and 2012. Adamon (out of a Monte Jenue mare) is his newest city winner, winning a $70,000 race in Flemington on a Saturday in April 2012 and following up by winning the $60,000 Wagga Town Plate in NSW in May 2012.

Adam has produced other city-winning runners from non-winning, average and unraced mares alike so he presents excellent value for money for those wanting to breed his champion bloodlines into their band. He passes on his high degree of toughness and competitiveness, wihch can be seen in the running styles of his progeny. With Adam as a sire, you do not need to have a city-winning mare to produce a city winning horse but if you do have a city winning mare, you are sure to improve your chances.

Being free of Danzig, Adam is an excellent cross for Danehill and Danzig line mares and as was his sire, Rubiton, he presents a Adam in 2011superior outcross for Northern Dancer linebred mares (see Innovation Girl (AUS)). Adam's dam's breeding pattern also shows a high winning ratio of progeny of mares with the Grey Soverign -> Soverign Path lines such as One Pound Sterling (NZ). Soverign Path crosses with Rubiton produced Flavour (AUS), Rubidum (AUS), Royal Rubiton (AUS), etc therefore Adam carries a double benefit by being a son of Rubiton and a dam who is proven to cross very well with the Sovereign Path line.

Adam also carries a double cross of the Fairway line through Long Row and Royal Avenue on his dam's side and the valuable Star Kingdom line on his sire's damside therefore will cross very well with mares carrying Star Kingdom (which produced Patezza (AUS), Rubicall (AUS), Return To Go (AUS), etc) and Vain (producing Rubiscent (AUS)) in their pedigree. The Mr Prospector line also features prominently as an excellent breeding proposition.

Adam has race-winning broodmare daughters in foal so we are eager to see if he has aquired his sire's ability as a broodmare sire. His oldest broodmare daughter progeny are yearlings.

Adam is the sire of 74 runners, 39 winners with earnings over $1.4 million. He has excellent fertility and a gentle and patient temperament with his mares.
